Ella I. Bragg of Sylvania, Ohio, formerly of Caro, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Kingston Care Center in Sylvania, Ohio, following a lingering illness.  She was born July 24, 1929 in Caro, the daughter of the late Walter Roy and Mary (Kriska) Trisch.  Ella was united in marriage with Frederick W. Bragg on March 25, 1949 at the Caro First Baptist Church.  He preceded her in death on December 4, 2004.  She was employed as a cook at the Caro Regional Center for over fifteen years, retiring around 1980.  Ella was a member of the Caro First Baptist Church, was a wonderful cook that always shared her recipes, and was also a skilled seamstress.  Her greatest love was her children and their families.  She took great pride in their accomplishments and was known to brag a little.  With a deep sense of loss, the family rejoices in the knowledge that she is no longer confined by her illness. Ella is survived by one daughter, two sons, and their spouses, Joan L. & John Drake of Sylvania, Ohio, Lynn F. & Shirley Bragg of Higgins Lake, Terry A. & Arlene Bragg of North Grafton, Massachusetts; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Stringer of Haines City, Florida; one sister-in-law, Shirley Trisch of Lapeer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janice Kay Bragg; and one brother, Walter Roy Trisch, Jr. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Caro First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald C. Wigand officiating.  Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.  The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.   Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Caro First Baptist Church or the Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, Ohio.  The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.RansfordCollon.com.
