Jaunita M. Trisch, age 80, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Covenant Health Care–Harrison in Saginaw. Jaunita was born August 27, 1934 in Republic, Michigan, the daughter of the late George N. & Louene (Weber) Ahlgren, coming to Saginaw as a senior high school student. She was united in marriage with Alfred L. Trisch in Saginaw on March 27, 1953, and came to Caro to live a few months later. Jaunita enjoyed being with her family, traveling, especially to the Upper Peninsula and ‘collecting’ anything she had two or more of, especially marbles. She was also a member of the Dayton Center Church for over forty years. Jaunita is survived by her husband of over sixty-one years, Alfred ‘Leon’ Trisch of Caro; four children, Leona M. Trisch of Caro, David and Wilda Trisch of Caro, Kenneth and Kim Trisch of Highland, Edward Trisch of Mount Morris; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, four sisters and their spouses, Elaine and Gene Miller, George N. Ahlgren, LeVerne and Lloyd Sacid, Sandra and Keith Poland, Phyllis VanOver, LaVerne Ahlgren, Grant Ahlgren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jaunita was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia L. Bauman on December 6, 2014; her brother-in-law, John Bauman on September 15, 2007; and one great-granddaughter, Arianna Jean Trisch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Dayton Center Church on Phelps Lake Road, with Rev. Keith Mead officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Dayton Center Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Dayton Center Church Youth Program.
