Fe F. Quines, age 77, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital. The daughter of the late Germino and Irene (Derige) Fabro, Dr. Quines was born December 27, 1936 in the Philippines. She married Salcor, her loving husband of 48 years, on April 18, 1966. He survives her. Dr. Quines completed her medical degree at Manila Central University of the Philippines and served her residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospital. Dr. Quines medical practice was in Caro, Michigan. She was a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and Seventh Day Adventist Church in Saginaw. Surviving besides her husband Salcor are one son, Salcor and Mary Quines, Winchester, Virginia; two grandchildren, Zachary and Zoe Quines; two sisters and three brothers, Welda Soliven, Germino Quines Jr., Elmer Fabro, Avelina Steele, MacManuel Fabro; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2755 N. Center Road in Saginaw. Pastor Robert Quillin will officiate. Honoring Dr. Quines’ wishes cremation will follow. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. Friends may call at Seventh Day Adventist Church where the family will be present on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
