Born September 16, 1962 and went home Sept. 23, 2014. Bob graduated from Akron-Fairgrove in 1980. He joined the Army the fall of that year. Married Catherine Mitchell in Lawton, Olk. on July 15, 1983. He leaves Cathy Ward of Wayland N.Y. and one son, Rob (Sierra) Ward of Savannah, Georgia. His parents Bob & Mary Jo Ward of Caro, one sister, Charmain (Mike) Bauerschmidt and one brother John (Rose) Ward all of Caro. His mother-in-law Grace Mitchell and brother-in-law Joe (Michelle) Mitchell of Waylan, N.Y. Four nephews, Nick Bauerschmidt of Kalamazoo, Travis Bauerschmidt of Caro. Sam and Adam Mitchell both of Wayland, N.Y. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his father-in-law Leo Mitchell and one Nephew, James Mitchell of Waylan, N.Y. Memorial services will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Caro at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10th with visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father Dennis Kucharczyk. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent in Bobby’s name to the Eastern Michigan Food Bank at 2312 Lapeer Rd., Flint, MI 48503.
