Cora Rita Hosey, age 95, of Panama City Beach, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home. Cora was born July 26, 1919 in Pocahontas, Va., to John Vincent and Cora Etta (Taylor) Bowman and moved to Panama City Beach in 2012 from Caro, MI. Cora was a seamstress for most of her career, having started her work in the Detroit area textile mills during WWII. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Panama City. Cora was united in marriage in 1942 to her husband, Charles Hosey, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1993. She is also the last of eight brothers and sisters. Cora is survived by her son, Charles (Ann) Hosey, Jr. of Panama City Beach; her four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and her two nieces and two nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will take place in White Chapel, MI, at a later date.
